Volunteer Opportunities Thinking about doing some volunteer work, but don't know where to look? Whether you're looking to gain experience or learn new skills, help others in the community, meet new people, fulfill community service hours or simply have some fun, there is a volunteer position that’s right for you. High school students can also fulfill their required hours.

As the community grows, so do the opportunities to volunteer and there are a number of options available to you, including:

  • Community Stewardship Program (tree planting, gardening, invasive species management, restoration site maintenance, etc.)

    To volunteer in Richmond Hill you must first register for and attend one of our Volunteer Orientation Sessions, which are advertised in the Community Recreation Guide.
