Draft Plan of Condominium

A draft Plan of Condominium is a method of dividing property so that an individual holds title to a portion of a building, or unit, as well as a share of the rest of the property that is common to all of the individual unit owners. The Condominium Act (1998) provides a wide range of development options including standard, phased, vacant land, common element and leasehold condominiums.

A Plan of Condominium can be applied to both new and existing residential, commercial and industrial buildings. The Town typically receives Condominium Applications for apartment buildings, block townhouses (both standard and common element), industrial and commercial buildings.
