Please be advised that the Town of Richmond Hill Engineering and Public Works Department, Water and Waste Water Section will be performing valve exercising of our water distribution network, starting Thursday, October 1. It is expected that this work will be completed by December 31, 2009.

This work is part of our commitment to monitor and maintain our inventory of water main control valves, which are an important part of our underground infrastructure. As with any mechanical device, regular inspection and maintenance is essential to performance, and these valves are critical to our distribution network during emergency situations.

LC Pipeline Inc., will have signs on their work vehicles indicating they are our authorized Town of Richmond Hill Contractor, and will be performing this work between the hours of 7 a.m. and 6 p.m.
