The Procurement Section of the Corporate & Financial Services Department at the Town of Richmond Hill acts as an expert resource to both client departments and the supplier community, facilitating the acquisition of goods and services for the Town in accordance with the Procurement By-law [PDF], the Procurement Operations Policy [PDF] and the Supplier Relationship Policy [PDF].
Commencing January 30, 2011, the Town of Richmond Hill's publicly advertised procurement request documents, Tenders, Quotations, Proposals, (with the exception of some complex construction projects) will be advertised and available for electronic download from the Town’s Biddingo.com bid portal at www.biddingo.com/richmondhill.
The Town of Richmond Hill encourages suppliers to complete the free online vendor application form at Biddingo.com, advising us of the goods and services you provide, to ensure that you will be notified of future bid opportunities. Suppliers registered with the Town of Richmond Hill will receive e-mail bid invitations for bid opportunities relevant to their business. Biddingo members can view procurement calls available from other government and private sector organizations, review document takers, bid results, receive automatic notification of addenda and download individual procurement documents.
As part of the procurement process, the Town frequently requires proof of insurance identifying the Town as an additional insured. The Town requires that Town Standard Certificate of Insurance Forms be used.
