The (Black Beauty) Grand Piano is being donated to the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts (RHCPA) in time to be played at the official Opening Night of the facility on February 28, 2009.
Arts Richmond Hill Chair, Councillor Nick Papa, will also announce the details of The Super Grand Gala “For the Love of the Arts” and kick off ticket sales. The Gala will be organized in partnership with Arts Richmond Hill. Proceeds from this event will go towards arts programming at the RHCPA.
The Super Grand Gala “For the Love of the Arts” will take place on April 17, 2009 at Le Parc Conference and Banquet Centre (8432 Leslie Street). The evening will include dinner with bar, a live band with recording artists, a well known local comedian as the MC, singers and dancers from various cultures, a silent auction and prize draws.
Tickets for the evening are $150 each and raffle tickets are $20 each. To purchase tickets or for information contact Councillor Papa at (905) 771-2510.
