On Thursday, April 26, 2012 from 4:30 – 6 p.m. (Letter of Intent signing ceremony to take place between 4:30 and 5 p.m.)

WHY?
|
This event will provide an opportunity for the Mayor and Members of Council to meet the members of the Tianhe District, Guangzhou Municipality, China delegation.
A Letter of Intent for cooperation and exchange between the two municipalities will be signed, which is intended to provide economic benefits to both municipalities through the active promotion exchange and cooperation between the two in the fields of economy, trade, construction science, technology, culture, education and the environment.
It is expected that a group of 10 delegates from the Tianhe District of the Guangzhou Municipality of China, including XU Hantian, Chairman of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference of Tianhe District, will visit Richmond Hill to sign the Letter of Intent alongside Mayor Barrow and Members of Council.
