Business delegates from Pakistan, members of the Canada Pakistan Business Council and local business leaders will join Town of Richmond Hill Mayor Dave Barrow and Members of Council

For a cultural business exchange in support of the diversity of the community and the many potential economic endeavours within Richmond Hill  

At the Sheraton Parkway Toronto North Hotel Suites & Conference Centre, 600 Highway 7 East, just east of Leslie Street (event to be held in the Thornhill Room)

On Thursday, June 5, 2008 from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. (opening remarks and lunch at noon & presentation on the benefits of doing business in Richmond Hill to commence at 1 p.m.)

As part of Richmond Hill’s international marketing efforts and programs to support local business in their efforts to expand and/or export, the Town is hosting this trade delegation from Pakistan. There are about 20 delegates, all from various business industries and backgrounds including pharmaceutical, information technology, food, textiles, and more.

This year, the Canada Pakistan Business Council is celebrating their 25^th anniversary of facilitating trade and business between the two countries and in hosting delegates from Pakistan. The delegates will be touring the Greater Toronto Area over the week they are here.

Throughout the year the Town hosts a variety of cultural business exchanges, including one from China earlier this year.
