The Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts is Looking Ahead and Moving Forwardwith its incredible 2009-2010 first full season. It’s an exciting blend of world class artists and performances that can only be seen in Richmond Hill. The season at a glance encompasses a wide-range of tastes, including contemporary and Broadway productions, family offerings and even a few surprises! Some of the performances include talents such as Art Garfunkel, Spirit of the West and Suzie McNeil, along with The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, The Wedding Singer and Romeo and Juliet.
The Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts, a 43,000-square foot multi-use cultural facility located on Yonge Street in the heart of Richmond Hill's downtown core, recently opened its doors on February 28, 2009. The Centre is home to Richmond Hill's diverse arts community, creates a destination in the downtown core and is a major venue to bring Canadian and international performing and visual arts to Richmond Hill and York Region.
