To increase service and support for our local small businesses within Richmond Hill, the Richmond Hill SBEC has recently relocated to a dedicated suite within the Municipal Offices. This additional floor space allows the SBEC to accommodate a resource library, computer workstations for clients and space to conduct consultations and small workshops.
Since its inception, the SBEC has grown and currently handles more than 4,000 general inquiries and conducts over 300 consultations annually for local entrepreneurs. On a regular basis, the SBEC delivers relevant business seminars and workshops to the business community, who continue to grow in attendance. In addition, through the Municipal/Provincial partnership, the SBEC has delivered the annual Business Forum for Richmond Hill business owners and has supported young entrepreneurs within the community through the Business Plan Challenge and Summer Company Programs.
The Richmond Hill Small Business Enterprise Centre is a partnership between the Town of Richmond Hill and the Ontario Ministry of Small Business and Entrepreneurship and receives community support by sponsors including Lexmark Canada and York Region Newspaper Group.
