BACKGROUNDER: CONCERTS IN THE PARK MUSICIANS

Mill Pond Concerts
Beach Party Boys
When it comes to summer music, no one beats the Beach Boys; and when it comes to tribute bands delivering Good Vibrations, there is no other show like the Beach Party Boys! The Beach Party Boys will take you on a Surfin’ Safari in their Little Deuce Coupe and remind you what it’s like to go Surfin’ USA.

Kim Stockwood
Well known for the songs Jerk and 12 Years Old, singer- songwriter Kim Stockwood will lead you on a musical trip through the heart of her native Newfoundland and Labrador with folk/pop stylings from her new album Back to the Water.

The Good Brothers
Spend a summer night with hometown favorites The Good Brothers, as they sing and play their own brand of country rock.

SQUID
This Celtic Drum Corps, hailing from Halifax, Nova Scotia, combines traditional Celtic fiddle, bagpipes and Highland snare drumming with African, Brazilian and Cuban rhythms!

Richmond Hill’s Got Talent
This Concert in the Park will showcase local talent, featuring greats like Derek Christie + Band, Tajja Isen, Terance Munsey, the Richmond Hill Centennial Pipe Band and Liam Kelly as emcee.

Matt Anderson
Singer-songwriter and guitarist Matt Anderson is one of Canada’s brightest new roots music stars and promises to deliver an unforgettable evening of “gospel-tinged, funky, country blues.”

Sheesham and Lotus
Bring your family out for a one-of-a-kind musical experience by Sheesham and Lotus, as they use the fiddle, banjo and “an array of homemade curiosities of noise-makery” to create their colourful fiddle tunes, hokum blues songs and ragtime string music.

Hotel California
Check into Hotel California – the original Eagles’ tribute band – as they bring Richmond Hill’s summer concert series to a close. Sit back, relax and listen to hits like Desperado, Take it Easy and Heartache Tonight.

Richmond Green Concerts

Join Juno Award-winning children’s performer Jack Grunsky on a musical journey full of singing, chanting and rhyming!

Markus
