Town of Richmond Hill Mayor Dave Barrow and Members of Council along with Town staff and the architecture firm Shore Tilbe Perkins+Will took part in the official groundbreaking ceremony of the newly named Oak Ridges Community Centre. The Centre is a 56,000 square foot leading-edge environmentally sustainable facility that will be the first major community centre to serve the Oak Ridges community
The groundbreaking took place at the future site of the centre located on Bayview Avenue between Bayview Park Lane and Bethesda Side Road on Tuesday, May 4, 2010.
