 The Power Pledge Community Challenge takes place on August 11, 2010, when communities across Ontario will be vying to be the most energy efficient in the province. Richmond Hill is among many communities taking the Power Pledge to help conserve precious resources, save money and reduce potentially dangerous greenhouse gases. You too, can take action in your everyday life to help protect our environment by way of energy conservation.
As part of The Power Pledge, we encourage you to join us in lowering your energy consumption from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on August 11, 2010. Take The Power Pledge today at powerpledge.ca and help Richmond Hill become the most energy efficient community in Ontario.

The Power Pledge
The Power Pledge campaign is a conservation awareness initiative developed by the Ontario Power Authority and co-sponsored by WWF Canada. It consists of an online pledge comprised of six actions to help Ontarians take simple but meaningful acts of energy conservation. It also consists of the Power Pledge Community Challenge. |
