Neighbourhood Traffic Safety Guide
If you haven't already done so, be sure to read the Town's Neighbourhood Traffic Safety Guide. The Guide is full of useful information on road and traffic issues including pedestrian and street safety.
The Neighbourhood Traffic Safety Guide was created in response to growing local traffic-related concerns and is a result of the work of the Town's Traffic Safety Task Force, comprised of residents, local and regional technical staff, and York Regional Police. The Guide identifies potential problems on local streets as well as solutions through education, enforcement and engineering.
Inside the Guide you will find information on Richmond Hill's road system and an outline of the responsibilities of the Town's Engineering and Public Works Department, the Region, and York Regional Police as it relates to roads. The Neighbourhood Traffic Safety Guide outlines procedures in handling neighbourhood traffic concerns, the involvement of enforcing the rules of local roads, and how the Town can assist residents with their traffic concerns.
You can pick up a copy at the Town of Richmond Hill Municipal Offices, 225 East Beaver Creek Road, 24 hours a day in the information rack located inside the main office doors. You may also download the guide here:
