Zoning By-law Amendment

The Town’s Zoning By-laws implement the policies of the Official Plan and contain detailed requirements that affect how land may be used and what may be built on it. Amongst others, Zoning By-laws may include, amongst others, provisions for the following: 
  • permitted uses;
  • where buildings or other structures may be located;
  • the types of buildings that are permitted and how they may be used; and,
  • minimum lot dimensions, parking requirements, building height and setbacks.
