Administrative Services Section is responsible for the provision of administrative support to the Mayor and Members of Council on a day to day basis. Staff provide the corporate support to ensure the required statutory notifications and other documentation relating to Planning Act and other matters before Council are completed. The Administrative Services Section also issues marriage licences under the auspices of the Office of the Registrar General; issues licences for charitable gaming and ensures compliance by all licence holders with the Provincial Legislation. This Section co-ordinates the Municipal Elections with the Town Clerk and manages the Town's central switchboard.
