Tourism Information - Directions to Richmond Hill
By Car

No matter where you are coming from, getting to Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada couldn't be easier. Richmond Hill is located approximately 25 km north of our provincial capital of Toronto where Highway 404 meets Highway 407 and Highway 7. Whether you are coming from the east or west you can take Highway 401 to Highway 407 or Highway 404 straight to Richmond Hill. A portion of Yonge Street makes up the Main Street of the Town.


By Plane

Richmond Hill also has two airports in its vicinity. Toronto's Lester B. Pearson International Airport is located approximately 20 minutes west of Richmond Hill and is accessible from Highways 401, 427 and 409. Buttonville Airport is located right next to Richmond Hill on Highway 404, just north of Highway 7.

As well, Toronto City Centre Airport, located on the western tip of a series of islands in Toronto Harbour, handles scheduled, private and corporate flights.


By Public Transportation

Richmond Hill is served by both York Region Transit and the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC). If you are traveling from other parts of Ontario you may want to consider using GO Transit.
