Youth Activity Card Application Form [PDF]
This year we have 3 exciting Youth Activity Card (YACard) options available to you:
All Inclusive Option: $25
participate in any of the activities listed in the Drop-in Activity Schedule [PDF] for no additional cost, plus other upcoming drop-in activities at the new Eyer Wideman House;
pay a reduced fee for most youth special events;
meet new friends with common interests;
receive a 5% discount on the following registered Youth Programs: Kickboxing, all Art Programs, all Dance Programs and Table Tennis Programs; and
be entered into sessional draws for prizes, such as mall gift certificates and much more!
Basic Option: $5
participate in any of the activities listed in the Drop-in Activity Schedule [PDF] and pay only $2 per drop-in acitivity, plus other upcoming drop-in activities at the new Eyer Wideman House;
pay a reduced fee for most youth special events;
meet new friends with common interests;
receive a 5% discount on the following registered Youth Programs: Kickboxing, all Art Programs, all Dance Programs and Table Tennis Programs; and
be entered into sessional draws for prizes, such as mall gift certificates and much more!
Pay As You Go Option
If you don't wish to purchase a YAC membership, you can participate in any of the drop-in activities listed in the Drop-in Activity Schedule [PDF] for a cost of only $4 per activity.
Obtaining Youth Activity Cards
Youth Activity Cards (Y.A.C.) can be obtained at the main reception area of your local community centre.
Please note: Youth must be in grades 6 to 12 to attend Drop-In Programs.
How to Get a Youth Activity Card:
1) Download and fill out the Application Form above. Application forms can also be picked up at any Town of the Richmond Hill community centre.
2) Take your completed form to the main reception area of your local community centre.
3) Hand in your completed form, provide photo I.D. and payment to the receptionist.
4) Get your membership picture taken and receive your temporary card. 5) You will receive a phone call when your permanent card is ready. When you come in to pick up your card, return your temporary card and your permanent card will be issued.
Frequently Asked Questions:
Yes, the card will automatically expire at the end of April. However, hold on to your card as you can still use it next year when you renew your card.
Do I have to bring my Youth Activity Card every time I attend a Drop-In Program?
Yes, it is important that you bring your card every time. Otherwise you will not be granted admission in to the program.
When will I get my Youth Activity Card?
Once the form has been handed in with payment, you will receive a temporary card. Your permanent card will be mailed to you.
Do I have to wait for my Youth Activity Card before I can participate in a Drop-In program?
No, you will receive a temporary card when you drop-off your application with payment. This will allow you to attend programs immediately.
Can I use my Y.A.C. at any Richmond Hill Community Centre?
Yes, your card can be used at any of the community centres for Youth Drop-In Programs.
Can I use my card to admit my friends?
No, each individual must have their own Y.A.C., including family members.
What happens if I lose my Youth Activity Card?
If your card is lost or stolen the purchaser is responsible for replacement at full cost.
