Election Day for all municipalities in the Province of Ontario was Monday, October 25, 2010. On this day, voters in the Town of Richmond Hill elected positions for the offices of Mayor, Regional and Local Councillor (two positions), Ward Councillor (one for each of Wards 1 to 6) and Trustee for the English Public (two positions), English Separate, French Public and French Separate School Boards.

The term of office is from December 1, 2010 to November 30, 2014.

The official results for the 2010 Municipal Election are in! This year’s voter turnout was 28.8 per cent, 2.5 per cent above the previous election in 2006.
