Environment Canada issued a heat warning for York Region. Residents are urged to take precautions to protect themselves from the high temperatures and to check on their neighbours and pets, too. Richmond Hill's Summer Outdoor Water Use By-law is also in effect. The By-law restricts water use from June 15 to September 30 and applies to all residential, commercial, industrial and institutional properties.

Obtain a free temporary parking permit to park on the road while your driveway is being paved or sealed. Free permits must be obtained in person at the main Municipal Offices, 225 East Beaver Creek Road, 3rd floor.

Your Richmond Hill Final Property Tax Bill for 2016 was mailed between June 20 and 23. Your 2016 bill includes a $15 special levy that was approved to fund the repair and replacement of infrastructure (such as roads, parks and buildings). This will appear under Special Charges as Capital Fee(s).
