Considered by some to be one of the most beautiful open space areas in the Town, Twickenham Park is a must visit for residents seeking a nature experience. The Elgin West Greenway Walk, a part of the Walks on the Wild Side® environmental education series, is anchored to the park system at its north end by the Elgin West Community Centre. The trail winds its way along a branch of the Don River, and provides excellent lookout sites to a headwater pond, wildflower meadow and mature hardwood forest.
