Freezing rain could cause icy conditions, power outages and tree damage
RICHMOND HILL – The City of Richmond Hill has declared a Significant Weather Event in response to a freezing rain warning issued by Environment Canada.
A mix of rain and freezing rain is expected late Friday evening through Sunday. Possible ice accumulation could lead to slippery roads and sidewalks, power outages and downed or damaged trees. Residents are encouraged to take extra care when driving or walking.

Summer Company Program Successfully Mentored 12 Students this Year
RICHMOND HILL – Yesterday, the family of former Mayor William Bell joined Mayor David West and Members of Council to present Owen Knowles with the 2024 William F. Bell Young Entrepreneur Award.
