Employment FAQ

Here are answers to the most frequently asked questions about municipal jobs in Richmond Hill:

Did you receive my resumé?
After you submit your resumé online, you will receive an email to confirm that we received it and that your information is now in the system. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please reapply online.
Can I fax or email my resumé?

Applications must be submitted through the Current Openings link. Resumés cannot be faxed or emailed to us.

Will I be considered for other open positions when I apply for one position or do I need to apply for each job separately?

You must apply to each position you are interested in.

Can I contact the hiring manager or recruiter directly?

Due to the high volume of applications we receive unfortunately we are unable to personally respond to individual inquiries from applicants. Please do not contact Human Resources directly about your application. You must apply online through the Current Openings section. We review all applications and will contact you if we have any questions.
