When to Vote
All voting for the York Region District School Board Trustee By-election (Wards 1, 2 and 4) will be in-person and is available:

Where to Vote
Voters can attend any one of the three Voting Locations to vote by paper ballot or request a change to the Voters' List (such as adding their name or updating/correcting their information). The City will have one Voting Location per Ward for Wards 1, 2 and 4.
To vote, bring your identification showing your name and qualifying address to one of the three Voting Locations below:
- MacLeod's Landing P.S. - 195 Silver Maple Rd.

Your VIP is not considered a form of identification. Examples of acceptable identification are listed under Voter Information at RichmondHill.ca/RHVotes. If you don’t have a VIP, you can still vote if you present valid identification or complete a declaration (if you are already on the Voters’ List).

Announcing the Results
The Election Office will only begin to tabulate paper ballots after all Voting Locations have closed and all voters in line at 8 p.m. have been given the opportunity to vote. Eligible voters in line to vote at 8 p.m. on July 15 must be permitted to vote, which may lead to delays in reporting results.
Unofficial results will be posted to RichmondHill.ca as available following review and processing by the Election Office. Voting Results are considered unofficial until certified by the City Clerk, which the City Clerk is obligated to do as soon as possible following Voting Day.
