2020 School Board By-election Campaign Finance

Financial Statements

Every candidate (including a candidate who withdrew his or her nomination) and every registered third-party advertiser is required to file a campaign financial statement.

Pursuant to the Municipal Elections Act, 1996 Section 88 (9.1), the Clerk is required to publish the financial statements filed by candidates in electronic format. Each financial statement is available in its entirety as a PDF by clicking on the candidate's name below.

Because the financial statements are prepared in hard copy by election candidates and cannot be modified by City staff, the scanned documents attached below are not accessible for use with assistive technology. Should you require any assistance, please contact clerks@richmondhill.ca.

Defaults

Pursuant to the Municipal Elections Act, 1996 Section 88.23(3), the clerk shall make available to the public the name of any candidate found to be in default and a description of the nature of the default. In cases where candidates complied with Section 88.23(9) of the Municipal Elections Act, 1996 by filing a late submission within 30 days of the deadline and paying a late filing fee of $500, a cessation of penalty notice is appended to the notice of default. Any notices issued can be viewed by clicking on the name of the candidate below.

30-day Grace Period
