Regional and Local Councillor Carmine Perrelli was first elected to Richmond Hill City Council in 2010 where he served as a Ward 2 Councillor.
As a member of Richmond Hill Council, Carmine worked tirelessly to ensure and enhance Richmond Hill’s economic competitiveness. He fought to cut red tape for businesses, end wasteful government spending, and has demonstrated that he is not afraid to speak out about contentious issues that are important to residents.
Throughout his political career, Regional and Local Councillor Perrelli has delivered many beneficial projects to the community he represented. Carmine has consistently provided an impassioned voice for fiscal restraint, social responsibility, is committed to serving the residents of Richmond Hill full-time, and has the experience necessary to improve the quality of services for all residents while keeping taxes low.
Apart from his political involvement, Carmine has considerable business experience. This perspective will prove to be invaluable as he tackles the many challenges facing Richmond Hill.
Carmine has already distinguished himself as a Councillor that gets things done in Ward 2. As Regional and Local Councillor, he will now bring this level of effectiveness to Richmond Hill City-wide.
