The Eyer Homestead site has a renovated heritage house and a large park with the Eyer Ropes and Challenge Course. Eyer Homestead is located at 1045 Elgin Mills Road East.
The Eyer Wideman Centre is used for various programs and events planned by the Community Services Department. The centre is located in the Eyer Wideman House. This house is considered to be one of Richmond Hill's earliest examples of Pennsylvania-German Mennonite housing from1828. The building's important cultural history led Richmond Hill to designate it under the Ontario Heritage Act in 1994. The heritage house was named after the Eyer and Wideman families who used to live there.
