Richmond Hill's Canada Day celebrations, dazzles thousands of residents every year with an exciting day full of live entertainment, multicultural food, a Bavarian beer garden, children’s village and teen zone, a marketplace, artist exhibit and midway, and one of the largest municipal fireworks displays in the Region!
Richmond Hill’s Canada Day Celebration grows in size every year and parking is limited. As such, FREE shuttle service is provided. Not only does this provide a convenient service it also reduces congestion in the park and and considers the environment. Click on the Shuttle Bus button below for route information.

Richmond Hill is committed to promoting a smoke-free environment. In accordance with the Smoke-Free Policy, there is no smoking within nine metres of facility entrances. As of January 1, 2015, according to the Ontario Smoke-Free Act, smoking is prohibited within 20 metres of playgrounds, parks, sports fields, tennis and basketball courts and splash pads. We ask that you refrain from smoking while attending Richmond Hill events.
Richmond Hill is not responsible for injuries, damage or loss to persons or property, however caused. The use of some facilities and rides are governed by age and/or height restrictions, which are established for our guests’ safety and are strictly enforced. To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all Canada Day patrons, access to the park will not be granted to any individual in possession of fireworks of any kind (including sparklers), weapons, alcohol or illegal substances.
