2012 Community Survey Results

The results of the Town of Richmond Hill’s 2012 Community Survey are in and 94% of residents surveyed are satisfied with Richmond Hill as a place to live. Not only that, 85% feel that Richmond Hill is a welcoming community while 78% feel the diversity of our community is one of its strengths. To download the 2009 Strategic Plan Implementation Plan in PDF format, please click here.Our Implementation Plan creates a framework for realizing the Strategic Plan vision. It establishes six key areas of focus: how we will act in providing leadership, engagement, and communication, and what we will do by aligning Town plans, undertaking new initiatives, and creating new investments. It also establishes performance indicators to monitor our progress towards our goals.

    Our Annual Reports celebrate our achievements towards realizing the Strategic Plan vision. Each report provides an update on the community on actions that have been taken in the past year, and tracks our progress towards our Strategic Plan goals.

    This plan was developed through a unique approach to public consultation known as People Plan Richmond Hill. Thousands of residents took part in this process to express a shared vision of the Town’s future. People Plan Richmond Hill is the now the model for all public consultation in the development of Town projects.
