Skating is a great way to have fun and get some exercise!
The Town of Richmond Hill Community Services Department offers a variety of recreational skating opportunities for the enjoyment of everyone, regardless of age and skating ability. Please refer to our Recreational Skating Schedule below for arenas, days and times.
The following rules and regulations are in place to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable skate:

The Town's natural spaces offer residents many recreational opportunities year-round. Enjoy the crisp winter air while skating on the natural ice of the Mill Pond
. But be sure the check that the ice is safe before you venture out for a leisurely skate or game of pond hockey. Signage is posted at the south end of the pond. Note: Mill Pond is open for public skating

The Town also maintains (weather permitting) an ice rink at Crosby Park (Newkirk Road & Crosby Avenue, behind Centennial Pool). It is on the baseball diamond and is open now.
