The Town of Richmond Hill provides a curbside Green Bin Program as part of our commitment to divert 70 per cent of waste from landfill. The Green Bin program is a weekly collection program for food and other “organic” household waste, which is then turned into compost. Green Bins are collected every week at the same time as the Blue Box. For more information about the GoingGREEN program, click here.
