Oak Ridges Library Construction Update

Richmond Hill and Zurich Insurance have reached an agreement on a completion contract with Buttcon Limited for the last 10% of construction on the Oak Ridges Library.
Buttcon Limited will take over construction on Monday, March 18 with the work expected to be complete by fall 2019. Following completion of the remaining construction scope, Richmond Hill Public Library has allocated a six week transition period to prepare the new library for opening to the public.

Richmond Hill Approves Operating Budget for 2019
RICHMOND HILL – Richmond Hill Council approved the 2019 Operating Budget on February 26. The $180 million budget represents an increase of $2.3 million.

Celebrating the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts
Council received an annual report highlighting the successful 2017/2018 season at the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts (RHCPA). Artists who graced the stage this season include Jann Arden, Louie Anderson, Ramin Karimloo (Our Town Our Talent), Tom Cochrane and Red Rider, USS and Saloon (produced by Cirque Eloize). Richmond Hill Operating Budget Deliberations Begin
Residents can learn more and participate
RICHMOND HILL – Richmond Hill Council set a direction for the Town’s 2019 Operating Budget last June. Maintaining service levels while keeping tax rates reasonable is the priority of Richmond Hill Council as deliberations begin on the 2019 Operating Budget.
