Our parks and natural areas feature a variety of amenities including playgrounds, splash pads, basketball and tennis courts, athletic fields, a skate park, skate trail, picnic areas and more!

Our trails are great for walking, running and cycling. They are also a safe, environmentally-friendly way to get around town.
You can apply to use indoor and outdoor facilities in the community for special events. Complete the online form to book a facility. We will contact you within 5 business days about your request. Another way to book one of our community facilities is to complete one of the following applications:
Neighbourhoods and community groups in Richmond Hill can adopt a natural park area. You will become involved with the cleanup and care of the area. Your group will take part in planting saplings, wild flowers and bulbs. You will also be a part of our natural area stewardship.
Motorized vehicles are not permitted in Richmond Hill parks or on our trails. You will be fined for not obeying our by-law regulations. Protected wilderness areas must be kept safe.

Smoking is not allowed within 20 m of all publically owned playgrounds, splash pads, sports fields, tennis courts and basketball courts under the Smoke-Free Ontario Act.
