Fitness Membership Policies |
- Every time you register or renew for a membership, you are required to complete a Membership Application and Par Q form. This form informs staff of your past or current medical conditions. If you answer yes to one or more questions on this form you must speak to your doctor prior to becoming active (certain medical conditions require a doctor’s note).
- A current valid Fitness Membership must be presented at the Reception Desk every visit. Once your Fitness membership has expired, you must renew your membership with payment prior to entry.
- Upon registration you will receive a membership card. All members must scan their Membership Card at the Reception Desk before entering. If you do not have your card with you, entry will not be permitted until your membership status can be verified. This membership card is valid for any membership in Richmond Hill and has no expiry date. A new card will not be issued upon membership renewal. If you misplace your membership card, you will be charged a $5 replacement fee.
- If attending a fitness/aquafitness class, you must scan your membership card and sign in using your name, phone number and/or membership number on the attendance sheet provided. Doing so ensures staff can contact you in case of emergency, class cancellations or changes.

- You are required to present your membership card upon entry for validation and admittance to the fitness areas.

- Be scent aware. Please avoid the use of perfume, cologne, scented lotions and other scented products.
- The maximum time use of the same cardio machine is 30 minutes. Please respect the timeframes allotted to ensure fair and equitable usage of the fitness equipment.
- Ensure you wipe down the machine (after you use it) using the spray bottle and paper towels supplied in all fitness studios.
- Promptly return free weights and equipment to their proper location after use.
- If you see malfunctioning or broken equipment, please let staff know, so the problem can be rectified as soon as possible.
