Outdoor Recreation Programs
Richmond Hill has new outdoor programs for individuals, families and groups including:
- Schools
- Daycares
- Boy Scouts
- Girls Guides
- Community groups
Outdoor Recreation Programs
Our programs offer hands-on experience in the environment. Participants learn about the world that surrounds us, take risks, try new things and gain self-esteem. Guided hikes are also great for physical fitness. Our staff will lead you through one of Richmond Hill's many parks with streams, ponds, fields and forests.
All staff members are trained, First Aid certified and knowledgeable about the environment. Our staff is also very passionate about teaching others about nature.
For more information, email our Outdoor Recreation and Challenge Course Coordinator.
Groups
We welcome groups of all sizes. Group leaders and adult volunteers are needed to ensure that there's at least one adult for every 12 children participating in a program. A minimum of 15 paid participants is required for every program. Adult leaders and volunteers attend our programs for free. Be sure to pack a lunch and snacks.
