Holiday Donation Drive
Updated Locations for 2024: Donations this year are being accepted at Richmond Hill Fire Stations only.
Make the holiday season brighter for someone in need. Richmond Hill’s annual Holiday Donation Drive takes place from Sunday, December 1 - Sunday, December, 15 and we invite Richmond Hill residents to participate!
Please drop off non-perishable food items, new clothes and unwrapped toys to all Fire Stations.

Donation Guide
Needed Items: Non-perishable food items, new clothes, and unwrapped toys
- Food items: cereal, pasta, canned and baked beans, tinned vegetables, soups, juices, condiments (mustard, ketchup, relish, pickles, olives, barbecue sauce)
- School snacks: juice boxes, goldfish crackers, pudding cups, peanut-free snacks, cookies, small chocolate bars
- Baking items: cake mixes, muffin mixes, Jello powder
- Baby items: formula, pureed baby food packets, baby oatmeal, cereal boxes, baby cookies, baby wipes, diapers (large size 5,6), Pull-ups (2-3T, 3-4T, 4-5T)
- Winter clothing: snowsuits, winter jackets, snow pants, sweatshirt, joggers, hats, boots, gloves, jeans, sneakers, pajamas
- Toys: sports items (including basketball and soccer); building blocks
Where will the food and toy donations go?
This year, all food donations will be forwarded to the Richmond Hill Community Food Bank. All other donations will be distributed to the Salvation Army, Yellow Brick House and York Hills Centre for Children, Youth and Families.
