Holiday Donation Drive
Make the holiday season brighter for someone in need. Richmond Hill’s annual Holiday Donation Drive takes place from Monday, December 1 - Monday, December, 15 and we invite Richmond Hill residents to participate!
Please drop off non-perishable food items and unwrapped toys to all Fire Stations and selected Recreation Facilities.

Donation Guide
Needed Items: Non-perishable food items and unwrapped toys
- Toys: sports items (including basketball, soccer balls and footballs)
- Food items: boxed cereal, pasta, canned meat and fish, tinned vegetables, soups, juices, condiments (mustard, ketchup, relish, pickles, olives, barbecue sauce), small bags of rice 700 G or 900 G
- School snacks: juice boxes, crackers, granola bars, peanut-free snacks, cookies
- Baking items: cake and muffin mixes, Jello powder, instant pudding, flour, sugar
- Toiletries: toilet paper, paper towels, kleenex, shampoo and conditioner, soap, toothpaste and tooth brushes, deodorant and antiperspirants, feminine hygiene products, make-up kits
Where will the food and toy donations go?
This year, all food donations will be forwarded to the Richmond Hill Community Food Bank. All other donations will be distributed to the Salvation Army, Yellow Brick House and York Hills Centre for Children, Youth and Families.
