The Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts (RHCPA) is a state-of-the-art cultural facility located in the heart of the historic downtown. The RHCPA is a 35,000 sq. ft theatre featuring a 631 seat main auditorium offering a full season of professional entertainment celebrating the many cultures of York Region. It is also home to Richmond Hill’s diverse arts community, creating a major venue in the downtown core to bring Canadian and International performers to the area.

Education Series |
The RHCPA Education Series program provides opportunities for people of all ages to engage in the performing arts – taking theatre programs off the stage and into your classroom. Educators, teachers, and students can attend educational and entertaining shows programmed to meet curriculum needs throughout the school year. Pre and post-show workshops are available. Have a teaching artist visit your classroom, camp program, or after school activity for a fun intensive workshop in “Intro. to Drama,” “Intro. to Musical Theatre,” “Hip-Hop Dance,” “Improv,” or “Stage Combat”. We are happy to work with you to find the program that suits your needs! |

The Richmond Hill Visual Art Gallery showcases the works of artists, collectives, arts organizations and schools. The purpose is to present exhibitions that showcase the work of artists and provide an interesting display of artwork to be enjoyed by the community. The Art Gallery is located in the main lobby at the RHCPA. |
