All you need to know about Camp
New adventures await your camper in our inclusive community where every child is welcomed and valued. While we look forward to spending the summer with your camper, we want to make sure everyone is as prepared as possible for the first day.
Summer Camp will take place primarily outdoors, with a few exceptions for specialty camps that require indoor space so make sure to dress accordingly to weather conditions.
We can't wait to welcome all our campers! To get ready for camp, check out all of our helpful tips and information.
| How to prepare for the first day of camp |
|
To help your first day go smoothly:
Medical InformationCampers who require prescribed medication at camp must complete the Participant Allergy and Medication Information Form and bring it to the first day of camp. Medication must be prescribed by a physician and must be stored in original containers. The medication will be kept in a locked box in the camp office. If your child develops a communicable disease during camp (e.g. pink eye), please inform staff immediately. This will allow us to inform other participants so they can take the necessary precautions. |
| Camp Forms *Complete prior to first day of camp |
|
We ask that campers come prepared with their forms on the first day of camp to make sign in as quick as possible. The following forms must be completed prior to your first day of camp: Camp Authorized Participant Pickup and Sign Out Form *if you are attending more than one location, this form will need to be completed and brought to each location on your first day of each week of camp! Participant Allergy and Medication Information Form Note: Please arrive approximately 15 minutes early on the first day, as some camps may require additional forms to be completed. Copies will be available on-site where required. Campers attending Before Camp will complete their required forms when they check-in for Before Camp. |
| Pick Up and Drop Off |
|
Children must be dropped off and picked up in the area designated for their camp, which is clearly marked at each facility. To ensure maximum safety, parents/guardians will be required to sign in and sign out campers each day. Proof of ID will be required at time of pick up. If you give permission for another person to pick up your child, they must be included in the Authorized Participant Pick UP and Sign Out Form. I.D. will be requested at time of pick up. Note: Please arrive approximately 15 minutes early on the first day, as some camps may require additional forms to be completed. Copies will be available on-site where required. Campers attending Before Camp will complete their required forms when they check-in for Before Camp. |
