Procurement Bid Opportunities
Richmond Hill's Procurement Section of the Corporate and Financial Services department helps manage the goods and services the City needs. The department follows the Procurement Policy and the Financial Control By-law.
Suppliers
Suppliers can create a vendor account for free here to receive notifications when bids matching their vendor profile are posted and to view bid details.
- A vendor account is required to receive bid notifications and access bid documents.
- A subscription fee (one-time or annual) is only required if you choose to submit a bid.
- To submit a bid and receive notifications of addenda, suppliers must register for each specific bid.
Create a vendor profile to stay connected to upcoming opportunities to do business with the City. A vendor account also provides access to procurement opportunities from many other municipalities across Ontario that use Bids & Tenders.

Please be aware that some third-party websites may cross-post our bids without authorization and attempt to charge fees for access. These sites are not affiliated with the City, and vendors do not need to use them to access our bid opportunities.

Insurance
Richmond Hill requires proof of insurance identifying the City as an additional insured as part of the procurement process through the Certificate of Insurance Forms.
Electronic Funds Transfer
Suppliers are encouraged to submit an Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) form to switch from payment by cheque to payment by electronic funds transfer.
