York Region issued a Notice of Decision on October 11, 2023, to approve the Secondary Plan with minor modifications, subject to an appeal period ending October 31, 2023.
With the major investments occurring in public transit in and around the Centre, the Secondary Plan will coordinate the expected growth in this area. The Secondary Plan will shape the vision for the urban centre with a balance of residential and commercial uses where people can live, work, and play.
