Access Richmond Hill

Access Richmond Hill is operating on a reduced schedule, offering limited services during the holidays. Hours below subject to change:

• Tuesday, December 24, 2024 - OPEN from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
• Wednesday, December 25, 2024 - CLOSED
• Thursday, December 26, 2024 - CLOSED
• Friday, December 27, 2024 - CLOSED 
• Monday, December 30, 2024 - OPEN from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Tuesday, December 31, 2024 - OPEN from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
• Wednesday, January 1, 2025 - CLOSED
• Thursday, January 2, 2025 - Regular business hours resume.

If you would like to pay a water or tax bill, payments can be placed in the drop-off box 24 hours a day, seven days a week, just inside the lobby doors at our Municipal Offices. Please do not place cash payments in the boxes and remember to include your payment stub along with your payment.

Alternatively, you can pay your bills through your bank's ATM or through your bank's online banking service. Parking tickets can be paid online through RichmondHill.ca/Parking.

Operations Centre

The Operations Centre is CLOSED to the public from Tuesday, December 24, 2024 at 12 p.m., and will reopen for regular business hours on Thursday, January 2, 2025.

Waste bins and garbage tags can be purchased at Access Richmond Hill during the hours noted above. No exchanges.

Community Centres

All Richmond Hill community centres, fitness studios, pools and arenas are CLOSED on Wednesday, December 25, Thursday, December 26 and Wednesday, January 1.

• Closed: David Dunlap Observatory, Richmond Green Sports Centre and Elvis Stojko Arena
• Closing at 11 a.m.: Elgin Barrow Arena
• Closing at 12 p.m.: McConaghy Centre, Tom Graham Arena and Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts
• Closing at 1 p.m.: Centennial Pool
• Closing at 4 p.m.: Bayview Hill CC, Elgin West CC, Langstaff CC, Oak Ridges CC, Richmond Green Sports Dome, Richvale CC, Rouge Woods CC, Wave Pool and Ed Sackfield Arena

Tuesday, December 31

• Closed: David Dunlap Observatory, Langstaff CC, Richmond Green Sports Centre and Elvis Stojko Arena
• Closing at 12 p.m.: Tom Graham Arena

Richmond Hill Public Library Branches

All branches are CLOSED on Wednesday, December 25, Thursday, December 26, and Wednesday, January 1 and will close at 1 p.m. on December 24 and 31.

Parking

Temporary permits for overnight parking can be purchased online. Please note winter maintenance activities prior to purchasing.

Waste Collection

December 25, 26 and 27 waste collection will shift one day to December 26, 27 and 28.

January 1, 2, and 3 waste collection will shift one day to January 2, 3 and 4. 

Christmas tree collection takes place the weeks of January 7 and 14, 2025 on your regular waste collection day. Please remove all decorations. Visit RichmondHill.ca/Waste for guidelines.
