Skating Programs

NEW COVID-19 Skating Lesson Guidelines
Things you need to know before skating lessons:
  • Do not enter the facility if you feel unwell.
  • All classes will be once per week for six weeks.
  • Children under six years old must wear a CSA-approved helmet. Ski and bicycle helmets are not allowed.
  • Only one parent/guardian will be permitted in the arena per child. Siblings and other family members will not be permitted.
  • Each parent/guardian must remain in the building in the designated area for the duration of the lesson. In/out access will not be permitted.

What to expect at the arena:

  • All users are required to use the provided hand sanitizer and wear a mask while in the facility. Masks may be taken off during your lesson, however they must be worn while off the ice.
  • You will be required to line up in the designated area outside the arena entrance 5-10 minutes prior to your scheduled class time.
  • You will be greeted by a staff member who will verify your registration.
  • You will be asked to complete a self-assessment of COVID-19 symptoms.
  • There will be directional markers/signage to guide you.
  • Dressing rooms will not be available. Please come skate ready with everything but skates and helmets. Designated areas will be provided to put skates on.
  • Water fountains will not be available, please bring your own water bottle filled with water.
  • Physical distancing is required while in the facility. Keep a minimum of 2 metres distance between you and others.

  • Recreational Women's Ringette League
