Implements new “Made in Canada” procurement approach
RICHMOND HILL – The City of Richmond Hill is implementing a “Made in Canada” procurement approach to further support Canadian and local businesses in response to potential tariffs from the United States.
Richmond Hill already supports local as most of the suppliers that the City procures goods and services are located in Canada. Payments to U.S. Suppliers constitute less than one percent of the City’s total procurement expenditures.

Residents reminded to keep roads & sidewalks clear of parked cars
RICHMOND HILL – City of Richmond Hill crews are continuing to clear snow from roads and sidewalks after back-to-back storms and continuous flurries dropped approximately 70 cm of snow over the last 12 days. The extreme weather has required a full deployment of the City’s winter maintenance resources.

RICHMOND HILL – Paid parking for the City of Richmond Hill’s Lake Wilcox Park will once again be in effect from April 1 until September 30. Richmond Hill residents can get their free 2025 parking pass for the park and Oak Ridges Community Centre starting today at Parking.RichmondHill.ca.
