RICHMOND HILL – In response to an increase in fire fatalities, Thursday, September 28 is Ontario’s first ‘Test Your Smoke Alarm Day.’ Last year, there were 133 fire fatalities in the province – the most in 20 years. Testing your smoke alarm could help save your life and the lives of loved ones.

Richmond Hill, Ontario, September 15, 2023 — Today, Majid Jowhari, Member of Parliament for Richmond Hill, and His Worship David West, Mayor of the City of Richmond Hill, announced a combined investment of $6.1 million to support the construction of a new pathway and footbridge in the Richmond Hill David Dunlap Observatory (RHDDO) park.
