Plans are underway for the new North Leslie Community Park East (proposed name Heron View Park) on Bawden Drive located east of Leslie Street and north of Elgin Mills Road East. The park includes a junior and senior playground, soccer field, colour coated tennis courts with lighting, fitness equipment, fitness loop, site furnishings including seating with umbrellas, park signage, and planting. Plans are underway to revitalize Melinda Clark Parkette located at 47 Royal Chapin Crescent. This includes the replacement of the playground, safety surfacing, site furniture, signage, walkways, pedestrian lighting, connection to Yonge Street, and planting.
