Due to unexpected maintenance at Ed Sackfield Arena, the following Recreational Skating and Drop-In Shinny scheduled for Friday, July 3 have been cancelled.
- Recreational Skating: 11:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.
- Drop-In Shinny: 12:15 - 1:45 p.m.

Notice of Road Crack Sealing

Please be advised that road crack sealing is underway in various Richmond Hill locations and will continue throughout the month of June (weather permitting).
This work is necessary for the ongoing maintenance of the City's road network and infrastructure. Efforts will be made to minimize traffic disruption while work is completed. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

Notice of Temporary Dog Park Closure

Please be advised that the Off Leash Dog Area at Phyllis Rawlinson Park will be closed from June 23 to 26 due to entrance gate repairs. This work will ensure a secured area with improved gate access.

Please be advised that the Tower Hill Dog Park will be temporarily closed today, July 8, 2026 as woodchip material is added. The work should be completed, weather permitting, by 4 p.m. today.
Central Branch Undergoes Renovations

Starting this summer, Richmond Hill Public Library’s (RHPL) Central Branch will undergo its first major renovation since opening in 1993. Changes to the branch will include more study space, updated furniture and select finishes, more electrical outlets on the third floor, a modular stage and event space, and an interactive play area for families and little ones.
