Notice of Road Closure: 16th Avenue, east of Red Maple Road

Please be advised that 16th Avenue Slip Road, east of Red Maple Road, will be closed on the following weekends:

Friday, May 6 at 9:45 p.m. to Monday, May 9, 2022 at 5:00 a.m.;

and,  

Friday, May 13 at 9:45 p.m. to Monday, May 16, 2022 at 5:00 a.m.

This closure is necessary to facilitate the installation of service connections for a new site plan development located at 243 16th Avenue. The Developer has received a road closure permit from York Region.

Construction Update: Lane Restrictions on Red Maple Road

Please be advised that Red Maple Road will have lane restrictions/reduction, between Highway 7 to just north of High Tech Road, from mid-April to July, weather permitting.

This closure is necessary as York Region, Environmental Services, and Public Works work on the construction of a 2.1 km sewer around the Yonge Street, Highway 7 and Bayview Avenue area in the Cities of Richmond Hill and Markham.

Notice of Road Closure: Anglin Drive

Please be advised that Anglin Drive, between 19th Avenue to Long Hill Drive, will be closed from 7:00 a.m. Monday, February 21 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2022, weather permitting. This closure is necessary to facilitate the installation of new municipal services within the right of way of Anglin Drive, for the new subdivision by Yonge 19th Joint Venture Ltd.

While work is ongoing, through traffic is provided and access to local properties and emergency traffic will be maintained.

Notice of Road Closures: Centre Street East and Crosby Avenue

Due to CN track repair, please be advised that Centre Street East and Crosby Avenue will both be closed from Newkirk Road to Pugsley Avenue from November 18 at 12 a.m. until 12 a.m. on November 23, 2021, weather permitting. These closures are necessary to facilitate full rehabilitation of both rail crossings by CN Rail. While work is ongoing, there will be no route across the tracks at either street.

Detours will be in place to assist with traffic.
