Flags at Richmond Hill’s facilities are lowered to half-mast on Thursday, November 11 for Remembrance Day, in honour of those who sacrificed for our community and our country.

Notice of Road Closure: Harris Avenue

Please be advised that Harris Avenue (east of Grange/Settlement to Yonge St.) is scheduled to remain closed until December 1, 2021, weather permitting, in order to complete the ongoing construction work. A road closure extension is necessary to bring the road to a safe condition.
All efforts will be made to minimize the inconveniences to the neighbourhood during this time. All emergency services, parking enforcement, schools, and transit services will be notified of this closure.

Flags at Richmond Hill’s facilities are being lowered to half-mast to honour residential school survivors, their families and Indigenous communities on the first National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Flags at all Richmond Hill facilities are flying at half-mast in honour of a City employee who recently passed away. Our thoughts are with their family, friends and coworkers at this time.
Notice of Road Closure: Intersection of Mill Street and Powell Street

Please be advised that Tectonic Infrastructure Inc. will be closing the intersection of Mill Street and Powell Street from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 6 and Wednesday July 7, 2021, weather permitted.
The closure is necessary to facilitate a watermain connection. Residents in the area will be notified and a detour has been provided.
