Notice of Road Closure: Edgar Avenue at Yonge Street

Please be advised that DeSantis Crane Services Inc. will be closing Edgar Avenue at Yonge Street on December 10, 2020 from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m.
The road closure is necessary to facilitate the crane lift of an HVAC unit.

Please be advised that we are currently experiencing an outage of pathway lights in Newberry Park behind Loyal Blue Crescent and Summitcrest Drive. The cause of the outage is due to Alectra Utilities infrastructure and could take several days before being fully restored.

Lane Closure Notice: Southbound Yonge Street

Please be advised that due to a watermain break, southbound Yonge street has been reduced to one lane between Arnold Crescent and Major MacKenzie Drive.
Lane Closure Notice: East Beaver Creek

Please be advised that the two northbound lanes on East Beaver Creek Road will be closed from just north of Highway 7 to York Boulevard starting at 5 p.m. on Saturday, August 22 until Monday, August 24 at 5 p.m., weather permitting. Traffic going southbound will still be permitted.
The road closure is necessary to facilitate a valve replacement.
Notice of Bridge Closure: Headwaters Trail System

Please be advised a bridge in the Headwaters Trail System, west of Headwaters Community Park between Elgin Mills Road East and Redstone Road is closed for repairs. This work is necessary to replace the wood on the bridge and is expected to be complete by the end of November (weather permitting).
An alternate pedestrian route has been created to accommodate the closure of the bridge along the Headwaters Trail. Please see the attachment below for a map.
