Please be advised West Beaver Creek from Granton Drive to West Wilmot Street is currently closed. The road is only accessible for local traffic. The road is scheduled to reopen Friday, August 7, weather permitting.
Notice of Road Closure: McCague Avenue

Please be advised that as part of the Region of York’s transportation System Improvements, McCague Avenue will be closed to traffic between Leslie Street and Ducharme Avenue from 7 a.m. on Monday, July 27 to 7 p.m. on Friday, August 14, weather permitting.

2020 Summer Sidewalk Inspection Work

Richmond Hill is performing a sidewalk inspection throughout the City from approximately Monday, July 27 to Friday, July 31, weather permitting. This work will be done by Top Hat Robotics, who produce sidewalk robots for a number of work-related use-cases like detecting sidewalk deficiencies. These robots will be inspecting Richmond Hill sidewalks accompanied by a Top Hat Robotics employee who is happy to answer any questions you may have about the program.

2020 Road Rehabilitation Program

A number of streets are being resurfaced through Richmond Hill's Road Rehabilitation Program (listed below). This work is expected to begin on July 20, 2020 and continue until the program’s completion on or about October 16, 2020, weather permitting. Lane closures are possible to facilitate this work.

Please be advised that crews will begin road reconstruction activities on Carrville Road at Yonge Street, and on 16th Avenue, at Yonge, starting on Friday, July 10. To accommodate these work activities, Carrville and 16th at Yonge are scheduled to be closed, one at a time, starting at 7 p.m., Friday, July 10, through to Sunday, July 12 at 11:59 p.m.
