Richmond Hill – Richmond Hill’s assets – roads, buildings, sewers and more – are in good condition and will stay that way with the right investment. The 2025 Asset Management Plan which was approved by Council on May 28, will inform how the City will continue to maintain its assets to provide municipal services in a safe, reliable and cost-effective manner.

First Nation Art Exhibit now on Display in Richmond Hill
RICHMOND HILL – Richmond Hill has the privilege of hosting the Minwaa Niinwind Dabaadjimownan: Our Story Continues Art Exhibit from May 28 to July 2, at the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts.
In partnership with the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation (MCFN), one of Richmond Hill’s Treaty Partners, this special exhibit showcases submissions of artwork by MCFN artists that celebrate their vibrant history and culture.

New By-law Supports the Health and Safety of Animals and the Community

Richmond Hill David Dunlap Observatory Turns 90!
RICHMOND HILL – This year marks the 90th anniversary of the Richmond Hill David Dunlap Observatory (RHDDO). Since opening on May 31, 1935, the RHDDO has been home to Canada’s largest telescope and a centre for astronomical discovery, education and community programming.
To celebrate the anniversary, residents are invited to explore the night sky, discover the cosmos and learn about the history of this unique site through exhibitions across the site.
